The SF Bicycle Coalition and SF Parks Alliance are teaming up for a special edition of our annual light distribution campaign, Light Up the Night! Join us as we'll be giving out hundreds of free bike lights, reflectors, and other fun accessories in Golden Gate Park (while supplies last).
There will be a leisurely bike parade ride through the park* and prizes offered at the end for the most creative light display, so make sure to bring your best set of lit wheels! Our partners at Kid Safe SF will also be in attendance providing resources and opportunities to learn more about livable streets and spaces. Bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, skates, scooters, and other wheels are all welcome, so come decorate your ride and help light our way through through the heart of Golden Gate Park!
Our chance to make JFK Drive permanently car-free is ramping up this winter. Come show your support for this space and learn how you can get involved.
*Event begins at 5:00 pm. Bike parade starts promptly at 5:30 pm.
