You are invited to meet and pitch to Bruce Schechter, angel investor at Band of Angels (150+ angels) and Andrew Krowne from Dolby Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm that did 34 investments in the last couple of years alone.
 
Also in the investor panel will be Dea Wilson, Venture Partner at Founders Floor Accelerator, member at Tech Angels, Founder of Silicon Valley Incubator and CEO at Lifograph - The Wiki of People.
 
Only a few Early Bird Pitch tickets available. RSVP early. Food and drinks are provided.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

FORMAT: 
 
90-second verbal elevator pitch (no deck) followed by non-rebuttal feedback from the investor panel. 
 
At the end of the event, the investor panel will choose three pitch winners who will be able to choose one of the free prizes.

BRUCE SCHECHTER  
 
Bruce Schechter is an angel investor at Band of Angels (150+ angel investors) and mentor at Stanford's StartX startup accelerator.   
Bruce Schechter is an active advisor/investor in a variety of tech startups, including Life360, Proformative, TreasuryCurve, and Simplure.    
He is a member of the Band of Angels, Silicon Valley’s oldest angel group with over 150+ angel investors.   
He is also the founder and President Emeritus of the Intel Alumni Network.  
Bruce is active in mentoring student entrepreneurs at both Stanford (StartX Accelerator) and Purdue University.  
Bruce received a BS in Physics and Math from Purdue University, where he graduated with Highest Honors and Phi Beta Kappa, and he received an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
  

  

 
ANDREW KROWNE
 
Andrew joined Dolby Ventures after earning his MBA at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where he graduated with honors. 
 
Dolby Ventures is an early-stage venture capital fund focusing on funding Seed through Series B investments in several primary sectors including Digital Media (VR/AR), Cloud Services, Security, Consumer Technology, and Healthcare Technology and Services. 
 
Dolby Ventures typically make seven to ten investments per year, with total capital at risk of approximately $3M per company. 
 
While at Haas, Andrew was the recipient of the inaugural Investment Management Fellowship and the CFA Merit Award and served as a Consortium Fellow. He also placed on the podium in the Institutional Investor Student Analyst Competition for his stock portfolio in the Technology, Telecom & Media space. 
 
Prior to business school, Andrew worked for five years at various Investment Banks including RBS, Barclays Capital and Merrill Lynch. He covered the Technology, Telecom & Media sector, focused on the capital markets. 
 
Andrew previously worked at two hedge funds and began his career in the Valuation Advisory Practice of Ernst & Young. 
 
Andrew earned a BS degree from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce where he had a double-concentration in Finance and Accounting.
 

  

 
DEA WILSON 
 
Dea is the Founder of Lifograph - The Wiki of People.   
She is a serial entrepreneur, Venture Partner at Founders Floor Accelerator and Founder of Silicon Valley Incubator. 
 
She is also a member of Tech Angels.  Her investment interest is in consumer, mobile and SaaS startups.    
 
Dubbed "Ms. Silicon Valley", Dea is what people call a "super-connector", her expansive network including the "Who's Who" in startups, venture capital, technology, entertainment, etc.    
 
Dea has been featured and interviewed in many media publications including Entrepreneur Media, Silicon Valley Business Journal, Yahoo Finance, Investor Business Daily, etc. 
 
As an Executive Director at The VC Network and LifographTV, Dea interviews many prominent VCs, angels, executives and founders in Silicon Valley and tech.  
 
She has a Masters Degree from University of Washington and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania).
