Life Hack: Technology and Design for Every Day

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Public Works (see times)
Technology is ubiquitous. Some of us start and end the day with our smartphones, allowing the digital to quietly burrow deep into the heart of our lives. But what does this mean for how we design our days? How do we maximize connection, flow, productivity and all around peace of mind among the countless e-mails, social media updates, text messages and phone calls? How can and should the way we design our lives change to maximize the benefits and minimize the drawbacks?

Moderator:

Emi Kolawole, d.school

Panelists:

Daniel Burka, Google Ventures

Francis Pedraza, Everest

Billy Sorrentino, Wired Magazine

Jen Panasik, IDEO

The folks behind Bicycle Banh Mi will be onsite selling their delicious Vietnamese bánh mì sandwiches as well as some other specialties from 6pm - 7pm. Make sure you bring your appetite!

Schedule:

6:00 p.m. (doors open) -- Networking reception with a complimentary drink, courtesy of HUGE

7:00 p.m. -- Moderated presentations and discussion
