Get up from that computer already! Candela brings us mambo, cha-cha-cha, merengue, timba, and even a little bit of Uruguayan candombé rhythms. Blessed with a tenor voice reminiscent of the great Ruben Blades, Edgardo belts out original songs as well as Candela’s “too hot to touch” repertoire. Come early for dance lessons!
An open-air salsa dance party in Jessie Square (in front of the Contemporary Jewish Museum), the series takes place on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00pm – 7:30pm with salsa dance lessons at the beginning of every program.
