Legend of the Barbary Coast (Charity Scavenger Hunt)

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Legend has it that a group of gold miners hit it big in San Francisco in 1850. Afraid of the lawlessness of the land at the time, they hid their treasure somewhere in the city and swore a blood oath to keep its location hidden.
A new excavation of the buried ship, Brilliant, has unearthed some clues that might lead to their hidden treasure.
Can your team decode the secret clues, travel through the dark history of the Barbary Coast, find hidden spots, and find the treasure?
Our unique puzzle-solving urban adventure will have teams of 2-6 players racing throughout North Beach, completing challenges, and searching for the treasure.
Proceeds from this event will be donated to National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAMI.org.
Players can come with a team already organized or can sign up individually and be paired with a team at the event. Be sure to bring some water, a pencil and a fully charged camera/phone and be ready travel all around North Beach searching for clues and challenge pit-stops!
Check in will start at 1:15pm at Sydney G Walton Square. Look for the girl with clipboard and top hat. The official rules will be provided and the scavenger hunt start will start promptly 2pm. The team with the most points wins the Treasure Chest of prizes.
