Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur To Host Sonoma County Resilience Fund Benefit

Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur will be hosting a benefit event for the Sonoma County Resilience Fund on Monday, December 4 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $50.00 in advance via Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sonoma-county-resilience-fund-benefit-tickets-39345328938) or $60.00 at the door. All proceeds from the entire evening, including auctions and additional donations, will be donated to the Fund (www.sonomacf.org).

On hand will be Chef and proprietor Roland Passot, a renowned Master Chef of France, joined by special emcee and auctioneer Liam Mayclem, the “Foodie Chap”, an Emmy Award winning Bay Area radio and TV personality. The evening will feature live music, silent and live auctions, tasty bites, local wines, craft beer and some needed holiday cheer. Wineries participating and donating wine to be served will be Thumbprint, La Crema and Hook & Ladder. In addition, Central Marin Fire Department Captain Tom Timmer will be on site throughout the day with a truck and fireman who will educate attendees on the severity of the recent disaster and how all can help moving forward.

Left Bank Larkspur's signature French brasserie inspired menu is prepared by Chef Grant Schley. A 42 year old native of San Francisco and a California Culinary Academy graduate, Schley was most recently at Neiman Marcus’ esteemed The Rotunda. Prior experience also includes working as a butcher for Bryan’s Meats (subsequently taught butchery at the CCA), plus stints at Chaya Brasserie (with Chef Shigefumi Tachibe), the Chalet Restaurant Group (Beach, Park and Lake), Betelnut (under SF Chronicle three-star Chef Alexander Ong) and the Chow family of restaurants.

Extraordinary libations remain a Left Bank hallmark and the Larkspur location’s full bar offers classic and contemporary cocktails, the largest pastis selection in California, after dinner drinks and a Wine Spectator award winning list of premium and affordable French and California wines. General Manager Frank Caiazzo ensures that the service at Left Bank Larkspur is seamless. Also working at the restaurant is Private Dining Manager Nora Rahe.

The restaurant is located in the historic Blue Rock Inn building circa 1895 and the dining room is notable for its natural materials and light colors, hardwood floors, stone fireplace, a beautifully refinished turn of the century 25-foot mahogany bar, the sun-lit terrace, comfortable bentwood chairs, colorful French advertising posters, high tin ceilings, large walls of windows and evocative brasserie lighting.

Left Bank Brasserie Larkspur is located at 507 Magnolia Avenue at Ward Street. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday from 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Free parking is readily available on the street and in a municipal lot across from the restaurant.
