Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur to Host Oysters & Loire Valley Wine Celebration
Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur will host an Oysters & Loire Valley Wine celebration beginning on Wednesday, March 11 and continuing through Sunday, March 15. They will feature a choice of three Loire Valley wines that will be offered in a flight of two ounce pours for $13.00 (also available by the bottle, carafe or glass) ideal for enjoying along with a plate of oysters on the half shell, or a selection of special a la carte menus items. All regular a la carte lunch and dinner offerings will also be available.
The menu specials will be Deviled Eggs with crispy oysters and crumbled garlic sausage ($9.95); Potato Blinis with smoked salmon, basil oil, oysters, whipped cream ($13.75); plus a selection of oysters on the half shell with various mignonettes ($2.75 per oyster).
The restaurant will be pouring the Chateau de L'Oiseliniere, Muscadet Sur Lie de Sevre Maine, 2011 ($32.00 per bottle, $24.00 per carafe, $8.00 per glass); JF Merieau Sauvignon De Touraine “Arpent De Vaudons” 2012 ($52.00 per bottle, $39.00 per carafe, $13.00 per glass); and Domaine Saint-Nicolas, Fiefs Vendeens "Les Clous" 2013 ($67.00 per bottle, $50.25 per carafe, $16.75 per glass).
