Left Bank Brasserie Hosts a Cooks with Books Event with Nigella Lawson on April 22
Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur, in association with Book Passage bookstore and the Cooks with Books program, will host a Sunday, April 22, 2018 dinner with Nigella Lawson, the author of At My Table: A Celebration. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be priced at $125.00 per person/$190.00 per couple which includes the meal, wine, tax, gratuity and a signed copy of the book. Advance reservations are required and can be made via http://www.bookpassage.com/event/cooks-books-nigella-lawson-my-table-larkspur.
The evening kicks off with a book signing followed by a sit-down meal inspired by the author's recipes and overseen by the restaurant's Chief Culinary Officer Roland Passot. The 288-page hardcover publication includes dishes to inspire all cooks and eaters, from Hake with Bacon, Peas and Cider to Indian-Spiced Chicken and Potato Traybake and Chili Mint Lamb Cutlets, plus colorful vegetable dishes like Eastern Mediterranean Chopped Salad and Carrots and Fennel with Harissa and desserts including Emergency Brownies, White Chocolate Cheesecake, and a Victoria Sponge with Cardamom, Marmalade and Crème Fraiche. Nigella Lawson has written nine bestselling cookbooks. These books and her television series have made her a household name around the world. She was a mentor on ABC-TV's The Taste and her books have sold more than eight million copies.
