Le Colonial to Host a 20th Anniversary Celebration Culminating on July 21

Le Colonial will host a 20th anniversary celebration on Saturday, July 21 by serving a $175.00 (inclusive) five-course prix fixe menu with each course paired with a glass of wine and prepared by a former chef who over the past two decades has helped make the restaurant one of San Francisco’s foremost destination dining venues (see the full menu below). The evening will begin with a 5:30 p.m. reception with cocktails and wine paired with passed appetizers. A proclamation from the City will be announced and proceeds from the celebration will be donated to Compass Family Services.

On the previous night, Friday, July 20, from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. the restaurant will honor its faithful guests, family and friends with a party in the lounge featuring hosted cocktails, lion dancers, entertainment and surprises. In the dining room, a special throwback menu showcasing Le Colonial favorites will be offered at 1998 pricing. A special selection of wines at discounted prices will also be available as it will be for the entire week of the anniversary celebration.

In addition, on Thursday, July 19 from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m., in the spirit of “kick back to 1998,” in the lounge and the dining room, featured beer, wine and cocktails will be served at 1998 prices, plus Happy Hour menu prices will be in place and complimentary treats will be served, including chips, nuts, bo bia chay, cha gio tom chua, truffle fries, chicken skewers, pork skewers and Brussels sprouts. In the lounge, this will be a ticketed event via Eventbrite at no cost but with a minimum of a $5.00 suggested donation to Safe and Sound, a charity that helps children in the Tenderloin. There will be DJ musical entertainment from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Then from 9:30 p.m. to midnight, there will be more music and the full cocktail menu will be available along with a selection of discounted cocktails.

Le Colonial is located at 20 Cosmo Place between Sutter and Post and Jones and Taylor.
