LB Steak San Jose to Host High West Whiskey Week March 18 Through March 23
LB Steak in San Jose will be celebrating High West Whiskey Week from Monday, March 18 through Saturday, March 23 showcasing specialty cocktails, High West Whiskey flights, and whiskey-infused menu specials, all available along with the regular a la carte menu. High West Whiskey representative Mat Garretson will share his knowledge with guests on Saturday, March 23 beginning at 5:00 p.m. and continuing until the restaurant closes.
Menu specials will include Smoked Herring Salad for $18.00, with fingerling potatoes, poached quail egg, watercress and radish salad and brioche; House Smoked Brown Sugar and Whiskey Baby Back Ribs for $ 27.00 with black eyed peas, apple pecan hushpuppies, smoked sea salt and honey butter; Grilled Whiskey and Sugar Cane Glazed Fisherman’s Daughter Shrimp for $34.00 with ginger pineapple chutney, coconut rice suman, sweet pepper and pea shoots; Shepherd’s Pie for $25.00 with whiskey braised short ribs, smoked cheddar and potato purée gratinée; and Banana Tatin for $9.00 with caramelized bananas, banana black walnut ice cream and whiskey caramel.
