This is a creative writing workshop taught in the Amherst Writers and Artists method created by Pat Schneider. The method combines free-writing techniques with supportive feedback and reflection, and focuses on developing authentic voice. Manuscripts may be submitted to the group for critical feedback, but the group focuses primarily on spontaneous writing exercises.
The workshops are held at the facilitator's apartment in San Francisco, on Cesar Chavez St. Street, in Noe Valley, and run consecutively for nine weeks, with four sessions per year. The workshops require a non-refundable deposit to hold your place. The method is fun and practical: it works.
