From humble beginnings at the mercados in Guerrero to selling delicious tamales across the Bay (since 2002), we've opened a new brick and mortar home in Fruitvale next to the Aloha Club. We're a passionate mother-daughter team serving our favorite recipes from our native Guerrero, specializing in tamales, pozole, and barbacoa all from traditional family recipes.
The Guerrero region of Mexico is truly a magical place, from the coastline to lush mountains, with a vibrant food culture to match - rooted in a beloved tradition of cooking and eating the bounty of the sea.
We are born out of La Cocina and our hope is to bring together community to inspire connection and conversation.
