JOIN US FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE PERFORMANCE
F&B: Voices from the Kitchen is a storytelling project created by La Cocina that seeks to share the voices and stories from the cooks and kitchens that are less often heard. The event is a twice-yearly performance that revolves around (and includes) food and drink on a singular topic or theme. Proceeds from F&B will support La Cocina’s business incubator program. Ticket includes cocktails, bites by La Cocina's entrepreneurs and a copy of La Cocina's newly launched We Are La Cocina cookbook!
STORYTELLER SPOTLIGHT: Gustavo Arellano
We are thrilled to announce that Gustavo will be performing at our Recipe installment of F&B. Whether you know him from his frequent essays in The New Yorker, his column ¡Ask a Mexican! which was nationally syndicated with a circulation of over 2 Million readers, his work as publisher and editor of the OC Weekly, his current work as a features writer for the Los Angeles Times, his Gustavo Arellano Weekly digital newsletter, or his bestselling books, including “Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America,” I’m sure you’ll agree that Gustavo is a master storyteller, serving up insightful observations with a large side of humor.
