Local chef L. John Harris shares his satirical celebration of food and foodies, Foodoodles: From the Museum of Culinary History. Literary Nonfiction. Art. Memoir. California History. The first battles of the American food revolution were fought in Berkeley, California, in the 1970s. In the trenches was art student L. John Harris who worked at several of the revolution's founding institutions, including the Cheese Board and Chez Panisse. Now Harris celebrates and skewers American foodie culture with over 90 gastronomically-incorrect cartoons and curatorial/memoirist commentaries from his musee imaginaire, the Museum of Culinary History. Foodoodles: From the Museum of Culinary History is complete with a foreword by Chef Jeremiah Tower.
