OVERVIEW

On Friday, January 26th at 7pm PT, KSW Presents a reading featuring Sarah Ghazal Ali, author of Theophanies (Alice James Books, 2024) and Soham Patel, author of all one in the end-/water (Delete, 2023). Join us at Arc Gallery & Studios, a brief community mic will kick off the show, followed by our featured readers.

FEATURES

Sarah Ghazal Ali is the author of Theophanies (Alice James Books, 2024), selected as the Editors' Choice for the 2022 Alice James Award. A Djanikian Scholar, Stadler Fellow, and winner of the 2022 Sewanee Review Poetry Prize, her poems and essays appear in POETRY, American Poetry Review, The Yale Review, and elsewhere. She is the poetry editor for West Branch and lives in the Bay Area, California. Learn more at sarahgali.com.

Soham Patel is the author of the poetry collections to afar from afar (The Accomplices, 2018), ever really hear it (Subito, 2018 [winner of the 2017 Subito Prize, chosen by Mathias Svalina]), and all one in the end-/water (Delete, 2023). Recent poetry has appeared in Interim, Under-belly, and Prairie Schooner.
