Will Clark played eight years at first base for the San Francisco Giants earning the NLCS MVP in 1989 and a Gold Glove Award in 1991. Clark was drafted at the second overall pick in the '85 draft by the Giants. In his inaugural major league at bat on April 8, 1986 he hit a home run off the future Hall of Famer, Nolan Ryan. He kept the excitement coming by hitting another home run in his first game at Candlestick Park!
Will was inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006 and was inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in 2008. The longtime Giants icon #22 joined the front office as a Special Assistant, Player Development in 2009.
