Prayers for World Peace: with meditation learn to transform difficulties into universal compassion. Everybody welcome.

Everyone is welcome to join in beautiful chanted Prayers for World Peace. This class also includes a short teaching from the book Universal Compassion and time for silent meditation.
Through getting familiar with Buddha's teachings on Lojong, transforming adverse conditions with wisdom and compassion, we can develop happy minds in any situation. By practicing Lojong, we can create happy lives. In person and live streamed.

July 2 Seeing All Things as Dream-Like, Gen Kelsang Choma
Through understanding the relationship between our mind and our reality we can free ourselves from our perceived limitations and gradually move into spacious, peaceful wisdom.

July 9 Transforming Our Obstacles into Spiritual Opportunities, Gen Kelsang Choma
Engaging in this practice is extremely important. If we learn this we won't have to experience anxiety or discouragement but can remain calm and peaceful in all circumstances.

July 16 Transforming Difficult Circumstances by Changing our Attitude, Kathleen Thurston
If we use Buddha's teachings to increase our compassion and wisdom, we can remain calm and resourceful no matter what life throws our way. We can improve our daily lives, and prevent future suffering. Change your mind, change your life!

July 23 Finding Wisdom to Transform Difficulties, Natalia Pereira
Difficulties and adverse conditions are merely perceptions, they do not exist inherently or independently from our mind's interpretation. The more we apply this wisdom, the less we'll experience reactive anxiety and frustration.
