Kids’ Turn is a unique child-focused program in the field of divorce education. Our 6-week Child-Parent workshops (1.5 hrs per week) help children aged 5-17 understand and express the difficult emotions associated with parental separation while teaching parents co-parenting skills. At least one parent must attend with children. Parents meet simultaneously in separate groups to learn co-parenting skills, how to reduce family conflict, and prevent childhood difficulties. Two parent groups are conducted to allow parents to learn separately.
We also have 6 week Early Years workshops (1.5 hrs per week) for parents of children under five (children do not attend), where parents learn co-parenting skills relevant to the developmental needs of children under five.
This is a Family Court recognized co-parenting program.
Details:
- Parents pay tuition on a sliding fee basis. Children are not charged and do not need to register separately.
- Each parent MUST register individually.
- Parents may attend without children, however children may not attend without a parent. If children choose to participate, they must attend all sessions.
- Parents MUST attend ALL 6 sessions in order to receive a graduation certificate for court orders.
- Parents will receive six months access to online curriculum upon completion of the workshop.
The dates provided are for our next San Francisco Early Years Workshop; for all upcoming Workshops visit our Eventbrite Page .
