"Between the Wish and the Thing" is a dance that asks the audience to imagine the future. From fortune cookies to stock market predictions, childhood dreams to science fiction adventures, the show takes the viewer on an immersive performance journey. Hawthorne combines movement, storytelling, and live music played by the performers. With influences ranging from ballet and modern dance, to Buster Keaton's classic physical comedy, to hip hop, expect the unexpected. "Between the Wish and the Thing" is a playful and contemplative romp into our collective future.

Audience sizes will be limited to 40 for an intimate experience at ODC Theater. The show runs 65 minutes without intermission and features performances by Elizabeth Chitty, John Chandler Hawthorne, and Katharine Hawthorne.
