My intention is to:-- give lessons and lectures on various aspects of the art and history of Kinbaku and on safety and skill in suspension. This includes time to field any questions and concerns attendees have as they further their suspension studies.-- demo forms, skill-sets and exercises to be practiced and studied.-- provide ample and safe suspension practice time with support from the instructors-- nurture the learning for BOTH riggers AND rope bottoms.
These groups are intended for students who already have experience in suspension, those that fall in the intermediate level and want to hone their skills and get more suspensions, safely, under their belt.I have found that 3 hours is an appropriate amount of time to convene, discuss, and practice and we want you all to feel relaxed as you work on your rope.
Requirements:- knowledge of basic suspension bondage transitions or completed the "Intro to Suspension class series at the Armory-all your own rigging equipment, rope, caribiners, ring, climbing straps, safety shears or hook-a solid, basic competence and experience in suspension-a proper, suspension-worthy boxtie/TK/chest harness
