at Lawrence Hall of Science (see times)
The Society of Women Engineers is heading to the Hall for a day of solar racing! Watch as middle school teams race their custom-built, solar-powered vehicles on the Hall's plaza for a chance to win awards for speed, creativity, functionality, design, and overall engineering.

Bring the whole family (and your sunglasses!) to meet the young engineers behind these solar-powered machines. Learn about their creative process and discover how hands-on STEM education is preparing the next generation of engineers.
