WHAT:The Kendall-Jackson Tour de Fox, a charity ride to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation and support the search for a cure to Parkinson’s disease, is returning to Sonoma County Wine Country for the third year.
Riders of all experience levels are invited to a fun day of fresh air and exercise, working together to support an important cause. Kendall-Jackson is proud to sponsor the ride, which takes cyclists on an adventure through the vineyards of Sonoma County and features different routes– ranging from 10 miles to 70 miles – so there’s something for everyone. Choose from four beautiful rides throughout Sonoma County:
? The Petite – 10 mile ride with limited elevation gain
? The Short – 34 miles between Kendall-Jackson and Healdsburg
? The Medium – 53 miles between Kendall-Jackson and Geyserville
? The Long – 70 mile challenging ride for experienced rides, with significant elevation gain
All participants, as well as the local community, are invited to celebrate post-ride with a finish line Festival at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens, featuring live music, wine, beer and food.
The Tour de Fox ride series gathers the Parkinson’s community in support of the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Proceeds from the event, which seeks to raise upwards of $500,000, go directly to high-impact programs to progress better treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
This year, to support the local Santa Rosa community, the Kendall-Jackson Tour de Fox Wine Country ride has partnered with the GOALS Foundation Rising Stars program to provide children and adults with special needs access to play soccer.
