What: Calyx Health, a new doctor’s office located in Alameda South Shore Center that provides top care exclusively to Medicare senior citizens, will host an ice cream social on Wednesday, June 6 from 12 – 3 p.m. featuring Loard’s ice cream and pie from South Shore Cafe. All community members are welcome to attend and mingle with the seniors of Alameda and meet the Calyx Health team.
Recognizing that seniors’ health needs are more complex, Calyx Health provides the highest quality mental and physical care available with an innovative approach. The clinic offers longer appointments, transportation services, fitness sessions, mindfulness workshops, computer classes, internal medicine and geriatrics specialists, and preventative care and maintenance for all its patients.
With the high number of senior citizens living in Alameda who are 65 and older, Alameda South Shore Center is pleased to be home to Calyx Health’s flagship clinic and continue to be a thriving center for all ages of its community.
