Go get yourself a latté and walk a few more blocks toward the park and find John Fluevog Ltd. This Canadian designer has a more sedate flare. The store offers tall boots in black, brown, or ponly hair, with sexy side laces that show a slash of skin from top to toe. Fluevog also has a few styles in the Doc Marten tradition.
