"True Colors" will relate humorous, revealing and inspiring stories from Jews of Color exploring identity, community and being a Jew in modern times. The show will be performed on May 20 and is presented by Los Angeles-based Jewish Women's Theatre (JWT).
JWT seeks out accomplished writers, encouraging them to explore their Jewish identity and create from their hearts. By establishing a home for such material, JWT expands the view of Jewish women and furthers Jewish culture.
Each year, they present three new shows at the Oshman Family JCC. In February, "Family Secrets" shared stories of youthful indiscretions, missteps, dishonest acts and naughty activities only whispered about, until now.
In March, "It's a Life" looked at the ironic, mystifying and often times unbelievably funny events surrounding death.
