SEE EVENT DETAILS
The actor and comedian Jeff Hiller's dazzling humor and tireless work has helped him build an astonishing career, which now includes the 2025 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance in Somebody Somewhere. While that major award may have brought him a new level of recognition, fans have appreciated his captivating and heartfelt humor for decades at stand-up shows; in theater performances including Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Tempest, and most recently the 2025 revival of Urinetown; and on television series like 30Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Community. Hiller is the author of the memoir Actress of a Certain Age: My Twenty-Year Trail to Overnight Success.

Poulomi Saha is an English professor and the Co-Director of the Program in Critical Theory at UC Berkeley. They are currently at work on a book entitled Disappeared into Devotion which explores the lengths to which people will go in search of transcendence--and the anguish of those left behind.
