Please join Phil Rosenthal, creator of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and creator and host of the new Netflix series "Somebody Feed Phil", and Steven Rothfeld, a world-class photographer and author of "Israel Eats", for an evening celebrating the cuisine of Israel.
Rosenthal's Tel Aviv episode of "Somebody Feed Phil" will be screened. His first travel food series, "I'll Have What Phil's Having", premiered on PBS in Fall 2015 and received two Taste Awards as well as the 2016 James Beard Award for Best Television Program, on Location.
Continue the evening with Rothfeld's presentation. He will share stories from his book, a delicious compilation of stories, recipes and stunning photographs of Israel's food culture today.
From north to south, Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, chefs and food growers have branched out from a vast array of cultural influences and traditions in Israel's history to create fresh, contemporary fusions and flavors.
Following the presentations, there will be an open discussion with Phil and Steven.
Participants will have a chance to taste Israeli bites and wine. "Israel Eats" will be available for purchase at the event.
