Shell will host more than 1,000 students from 99 high schools and universities across North and South America at Make the Future California featuring Shell Eco-marathon Americas at Sonoma Raceway, April 19-22. Make the Future California is a free and public event that provides an interactive journey of today and tomorrow’s energy and mobility.
Shell Eco-marathon is a global program built to offer students hands-on opportunities to develop ideas and technology, knowledge and skills, within an arena of competition. Students from countries across their respective regions use innovative problem-solving skills to design and build their own cars to prove that their bright ideas will produce the most energy-efficient vehicle.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy various hands-on activities and virtual reality experiences during the festival. Whether you want to test your knowledge about energy efficiency or ask a scientist about future energy solutions, all are welcome to enjoy this free family-friendly event! Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event.
