Come on down to the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History as they welcome community educator and NASA scientist “Cosmic†Joe Jordan for a lecture, discussion, and sky viewing. Attendees will witness the wonders of the night sky, learn the basics of observational astronomy and "cosmic ecology," and explore resources and equipment used to view planets, galaxies, nebulae and constellations. This will begin at the Museum and move to the nearby mountains for sky viewing.
