Introductory & Practical AI for Remodeling Professionals
at Laney College's Bay Area AI Center of Excellence (BAAICOE)

July 23-Oakland (4-6 PM) & Aug 4-San Rafael (5:30-7:30 PM)
Join us for an evening of networking and education with fellow NARI members and Bay Area remodeling industry professionals. To make it easy to attend, we're offering this program in two locations on different dates-same topic, different demonstrations:
* July 23 - The AI Center at Laney College, Oakland
* August 4 - Floortex Designs, San Rafael
Ninety minutes won't make anyone an AI expert-and that's not the goal.
What this session will do is move you from AI-curious to AI-practical by providing a clear framework for using AI tools to save time, streamline tasks, and solve real business challenges.
This program skips the hype. It's designed for busy remodeling professionals who don't have time for endless theory-or for chatbots that confidently invent code requirements or construction details. The real value of AI comes from applying it to your projects, your data, and your professional judgment.
Presenters Brian and Tuan bring AI expertise, facilitation skills, and cross-industry experience. You bring the remodeling knowledge. Together, we'll explore how to direct AI toward the challenges you already understand and turn it into a practical business tool.
We'll also showcase real-world demonstrations from business owners and remodeling professionals who are already using AI effectively in their day-to-day operations. No futuristic concepts-just proven examples, lessons learned, and ideas you can put to work immediately.
If there's interest in taking the next step, we'll survey attendees at the end of each session about future hands-on training opportunities. Based on demand, we may coordinate a workshop series focused on applying AI directly within your remodeling business.
