Learning your first programming language is exhilarating! Since there’s so much to digest in the very beginning, we’ve decided to teach the basics over the course of three Wednesday nights. Classes meet from 6-8:30pm.
This course is a good idea if you have:
Built static websites with SquareSpace, or even custom HTML & CSS, and you want to learn to write and incorporate JavaScript
Been teaching yourself to code and want to tighten your grasp on the basics
Considered becoming a web developer, but don’t have much experience coding
Here’s what we’ll be covering:
May 15 - Language Foundations (variables, data types and conditional logic)
May 22 - Accessing Data (objects, arrays, and iteration)
June 5 - Writing dynamic code (functions and browser-based JavaScript)
The cost of this 3-night course is $99. We’re limiting the size of this course series to 15 students.
