Intro to Tarot & Trance Work

SEE EVENT DETAILS

Hi dreamers, diviners, and healers!

Interested in understanding tarot with integrated heart and mind? We'll be looking at tarot from a personal point view while understanding the 'traditional' structure.

The focus will be on building your own tarot vocabulary through developing your relationship with the tarot symbols. This is done by connecting each card to your own experience and body. You will leave with the skills to go into tarot study and practice with confidence.

This class is suitable for beginners with no experience or those who are interested in doing trance work with the tarot. The material is presented, group discussion and sharing happens and then we do what we talked about!

This class aims to be gender/sexuality inclusive, anti-patriarchal and inclusive of all experiences. Understanding that tarot has roots in an aristocratic environment of Europe, many decks retain those influences. If you'd like recommendations for alternative decks that are representative of greater social, racial, gender or religious expression please reach out and I'll send you a list! We will be using the "Rider-Waite-Smith" deck by Pamela Coleman-Smith as the basis for this class while being aware of its historical roots. Any illustrated deck is suitable though! The important thing is you like and can relate to the images on YOUR deck!
