Tuesday - Friday Morning Sessions: Verbatim psychotherapy transcripts will be used to illustrate plan formulation and how the formulation is used to understand the therapeutic process
Tuesday - Friday Afternoon Sessions: Key concepts in the Control Mastery Theory such as trauma, patient testing of the therapist, the role of technique in therapy, dream interpretation, research, and perspectives on psychotherapy supervision
Saturday: The workshop concludes with a day long conference, “Listening to the Unconscious.†Experienced therapists from different perspectives (Freudian, Jungian, CMT, and CBT) will discuss how they listen to the patient’s unconscious communication and how they work with what they hear.
NOTE: Saturday's workshop will be at the Presidio Log Cabin (1299 Storey Ave, San Francisco, CA 94129).
