Integrating Psychedelic Experiences: A Workshop with Julie D. Megler and Mary McDermott

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Entheogenic/psychedelic integration is the process by which the material accessed and insights gained in an entheogenic experience are incorporated over time into one’s life in a way that benefits ourselves and our communities. In this workshop, licensed clinicians Julie D. Megler and Mary McDermott share the basic principles of integration, as well as a structure to approach it and understand our own experiences more deeply.
Julie and Mary guide the group through experiential meditation, art, journaling, and ritual in addition to practical discussion throughout this day-long integration process. Drawing upon their wisdom as licensed clinicians, plant medicine experiences, dietas, and spiritual practices, Julie and Mary teach participants how to work with shadow material and develop skills to meet uncomfortable emotions with openness.
Leave this workshop with your own daily practice for integration as well as the ability to evaluate of how your physical and emotional environment and belief structures can benefit or hinder integration.
This is an integration group, and does not promote, facilitate, or require the use of entheogens.
