CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF HEALING
For 40 years, Instituto Familiar De La Raza, Inc. has promoted and enhanced the health and well-being of the Chicano/Latino/Indígena community in San Francisco. For four decades, IFR has provided programs and services in response to community violence, health disparities, family reunification, HIV/AIDS, trauma, and many other issues. We are proud of its legacy of community responsiveness, and remain committed to fostering resiliency and wellness. As always, IFR is grounded in cultural/spiritual interventions, affirmations and community building as guiding principles for our work.
Join us in celebrating 40 years of healing, achievements, and contributions to the well-being of the San Francisco Latino community. The evening will honor IFR's founders, community leaders, funders, staff, families, and friends who have contributed to IFR's transformational work and legacy.
The evening will be filled with the beauty, colors, taste, sounds, and richness of the diverse Latino community. The program will include: guest speaker Peter Bratt; entertainment by Buyepongo, Son De La Bahia, Danza Colibri, Danza Xitlali, and community artists for your enjoyment. The event will be catered by Lucas Catering, who will offer a sampling of the rich savory flavors of Latin America. A cash bar will also be available throughout the evening.
