Instant Dog Photo Booth with Jesse Freidin Photographer

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Need an excuse to indulge in some photography with fido?  Come get a one-of-a-kind analog Polaroid portrait of your best bud by fine art dog photographer, Jesse Freidin. Guests will walk away with a beautiful instant peel-apart print, lovingly placed inside a vintage folio and taken with a big clunky film camera. Yea, those still exist! Each magical photograph is signed by the artist and yours to keep...forever. Jesse Freidin is a master of instant film and a die-hard dog lover. He has been documenting the human/animal bond from coast to coast for the past decade.
But that's not all! A portion of the sales will be donated to Muttville, a senior dog rescue center located right here in San Francisco.
Polaroid film! Pooch portraits!  And senior dog adoption fundraising!  Dang, reserve your spot today!
When: Sunday, April 14, 2019
Time: 12-2pm

About Jesse
"I’ve always been fascinated with documenting the human/animal bond, and seeing that bond in action time and time again is deeply moving to me. The trust and affection our dogs give us—and the comfort that comes from that—is unlike anything else in the human experience.
It’s an honor and a pleasure for me to witness how dogs enrich our lives, and I take pride in celebrating each and every one of my subjects in a truly genuine and personal way.
Even when a photograph shows only your dog, it is a reflection of the relationship you share. It’s my goal to accurately, beautifully capture a chapter in the story of your long loving relationship.
My approach to photography is rooted in the principles of authenticity, quality, and honesty. I approach my work as a storyteller, not just as a photographer, so I can see and share all that’s wrapped up between you and your best friend without saying a single word.
Our animals are so much a part of us; getting to the heart of that with an image is everything."

About Muttvile
We reach out to senior and special needs rescue dogs; find suitable homes for those dogs that are adoptable; and offer end of life care for those that are not. These are not just shelter dogs; every day, dogs are moved from loving homes to concrete cages because their guardians have died or moved or simply can’t care for them anymore.
If we had our way, no dog would spend its last days in a cold, dark shelter. There is so much love and joy in these dogs! Bringing these special dogs into a home is not only good for the dogs, but such loving, mellow dogs transform the quality of life for the people who adopt or foster them.
