Join us for a free preview screening of the PBS Independent Lens documentary, “Real Boy” at the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts. Follow the story of 19-year old Bennett as he navigates early sobriety, late adolescence, and the evolution of his gender identity, and his mother who makes her own transformation from resistance to acceptance of her trans son.

Featuring a panel discussion moderated by Transgender Law Center's Cecilia Chung, with filmmaker Shaleece Haas, and live musical performances from film protagonists Bennett and Joe Stevens.
