India's Chaat House brings Indian Street Food to The Mission

The Lotus Family of Restaurants announce their latest Indian restaurant: India's Chaat House.
The first real Chaat House to open in the Mission District of San Francisco, India's Chaat House features popular traditional Indian street food dishes. The address is 3275 22nd St between Valencia and Bartlett Streets in the Mission, right next to the Indian Spices and Groceries shop.
India's Chaat House is family-friendly, great for a date night, or a casual gathering with friends. The newest establishment from the Lotus Family will be run by Manager Dhruba Kunwar who hails from Nepal. Dhru and his team promise service that is fast, friendly and warm.
India's Chaat House is open from 1 pm to 10 pm Tuesdays through Sundays for Lunch and Dinner and closed on Mondays. The India's Chaat House Menu has all the popular chaat dishes that make Indian Street Food such a hit around the world!
The menu is full of Indian snacks as well as big and small meals. Highlights include:

Naan Indian Bread baked in our Clay Tandoor Oven (lots of toppings)

Surinder Sroa, the restaurateur behind the Lotus Family of Restaurants, carefully searches out organic, local sources for ingredients, like free-range poultry, wild-caught seafood, and organic, non GMO grains and vegetables. There are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on our menu.
Lotus has three restaurant locations in Marin as well as two Indian groceries, one in San Rafael and the other one is Indian Spices and Groceries, which is just next door to India's Chaat House in The Mission. "It's very common in Indian communities to have the grocery store and the connecting restaurant or deli," says Sroa. "This way, people can do their shopping and have a good meal." Creating a great dining experience has been worked out since 1998 at Lotus. Many rewards and accomplishments have accumulated every year since, including annual Best Indian Food awards and membership in the Best of Marin Hall of Fame.
Lotus has a long tradition of caring for the community. Lotus is known for their generosity, which includes thousands of free meals provided to everyone who shows up the night before Thanksgiving.
For the month of November during the Chaat House Grand Opening we invite our neighbors and customers to visit us for a free cup of hot Chai spiced tea.
