Join us for the first ever Oakland Treasure Hunt, an adventure race that highlights downtown and uptown Oakland as its central character. With this event, we are bringing the work of San Francisco Treasure Hunts (SFTreasureHunts.com), creators of the highly successful San Francisco Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt (https://www.facebook.com/SFChineseNewYearTreasureHunt) to the East Bay.
Treasure hunting teams have three hours to solve clues leading to unique locations including obscure landmarks, forgotten architectural delights, and vestiges of Oakland’s colorful past. Players can come with a team already organized, or can join like-minded hunters at the event; it’s a great way to make new friends!
The first teams back with the highest number of correct answers will win. The First Place Team gets bragging rights for a year…and a cake from Miette!
