Please join me on September 30th for a (somewhat unconventional) 30th birthday celebration and photo exhibit!
Last spring, I volunteered and documented the refugee crisis in Greece with two great organziations: The Home Project & Echo 100 Plus. In lieu of a typical 30th bash, I'd like to share the photos I made there and support the people these organziations serve. The Home Project is based in Athens, and their small team runs 5 shelters for unaccompanied minors in the city. Echo 100 Plus is an Austrian nonprofit working in Ritsona Camp north of Athens, and on the island of Leros, one of the first reception points for refugees making the harrowing journey across the Agean sea from Turkey.
I hope you can make it on September 30th to support these organizations by making a $20 contribution with your ticket purchase here. All ticket sales will be split evenly between the Home Project & Echo, and any proceeds from prints purchased that night will be donated to the respective organizations. Wine, beer, & light refreshments are on me! :)
