SEE EVENT DETAILS
Hey SF!
Verve Wine is pleased to welcome renowned author, sommelier, and winemaker Rajat Parr of Domaine de la Côte for an in-store tasting & book signing party on Thursday, October 25th. Join us as we celebrate the launch of Rajat’s new book, The Sommelier’s Atlas of Taste, all while sipping on wines featured within its pages. Special guests Guillaume d’Angerville (of Marquis d’Angerville) and Guillaume Lavollée of (Genot-Boulanger) will also be in attendance, pouring their wines featured in Rajat’s new book!  Each ticket gives you a copy of the book, a tasting of the wines, and a snack.
*Bonus Invite!* - Post book signing party, we will be hosting an unforgettable winemaker dinner with both Guillaume d’Angerville and Guillaume Lavollée, two of Burgundy’s most legendary producers, at Octavia. Dinner includes an exclusive preview to Burgundy’s 2016 vintage, as well as some back vintage favorites from some of Burgundy’s best; a once in a lifetime experience! Tickets are $475 and only seven seats are available. Please email us directly to secure your spot!
Rajat ‘Raj’ Parr is an author, sommelier, and winemaker, based in California. Parr produces wines under the Domaine de la Côte and Sandhi labels, alongside business partner and winemaker Sashi Moorman. Born and raised in Calcutta, India, Parr consumed his first taste of wine at 20 years old, while living with his uncle in London. After completing Hotel Administration school in India, followed by culinary at the CIA in upstate New York, Parr moved to San Francisco, working various sommelier roles. In 2003, Parr became the wine director of all Michael Mina restaurants, followed by RN74 in 2007. Parr’s Domaine de la Côte and Sandhi wines are produced all organically, with a non-interventionist mentality implemented in the cellar.
We hope to see you there!
