The UC Berkeley Center for Global Public Health (CGPH) and the UC Berkeley Master of Development Practice (MDP) program will be hosting a global health and human rights lecture and book event featuring the distinguished law scholar, Professor Lawrence Gostin, on Tuesday, April 29, 5:30-6:30 at the UC Berkeley Alumni House.
Professor Gostin founded and directs the O’Neil Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University. He is the Director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Center on Public Health Law and Human Rights. He also serves on the WHO Director-General's Advisory Committee on Reforming the World Health Organization. His lecture on global health and human rights is entitled Imagining Global Health with Justice.
The lecture will be followed by a book sale/signing of his new book, Global Health Law (publication announcement attached). The event is free but please register at:
