Incorporating devised dialogue and unexpected imagery - a woman turning into a monster, a phone call from the future, an absurdist ball game - Imaginary Country explores the fear, joy and transformative possibilities that come with imagining the future.
Under the direction of Sharp & Fine Co-Founders Megan and Shannon Kurashige, the cast for Imaginary Country includes Julie Crothers, Sonja Dale, Caitlin Hicks, Molly Levy and Meredith Webster. The musicians include percussionist Jordan Glenn, bassist/cellist Max Judelson, reeds player Cory Wright, and pianist and flutist Erika Oba. Imaginary Country features a commissioned score composed by Glenn and Judelson.
