The Women's Community Clinic is a sanctuary for women and trans folks who face barriers to health care. Your support of Hysteria allows us to provide over 4,000 clients every year with compassionate, high-quality health care, supportive outreach services, and innovative workforce development opportunities.
Laughter will be provided by Helen Hong, a previous performer on Last Call with Carson Daly, The Arsenio Hall Show, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, and Wanda Sykes presents Herlarious - just to name a few. She was also named one of Huffington Post’s favorite female comedians list, and Buzzfeed named her one of 18 Comedians Who Could Take Over the Late Show from David Letterman.
We are pleased to honor Carlina Hansen with the 2018 Hysterical Hero Award. Carlina is a leading healthcare advocate and educator in San Francisco. As the Executive Director of the Women's Community Clinic for nearly 18 years, she helped build the Clinic’s foundations and was a driving force behind our core values and mission – to improve the health and well-being of women and girls.
