Hyatt Regency San Francisco is Home for the Holidays

Building and steps from the California Street Cable Car line, Hyatt Regency San Francisco has a host of holiday plans to entice revelers from near and far. And, although it never snows in San Francisco, the Hyatt Regency San Francisco is predicting snowfall in its dramatic atrium lobby through the Holiday Season. Complementing 300,000 cascading lights and 30-foot tree, snow will fall multiple times daily in the hotel's lobby, from November 22 through December 30, 2014.

Tree and Interior Lobby Lighting
November 21 from 7:00 – 7:30 p.m.
The evening will be filled with (FREE) music and entertainment from Glide Memorial Choir, Meshuga Nutcracker and the Young People’s Symphony Orchestra Brass Section as well as guaranteed snowfall and the initial lighting of the hotel’s interior with over 300,000 cascading lights.

Daily/Nightly snowfall and Iconic Snow Village Display
November 22 to December 30
Open 24-hours a day and free to the public, Hyatt Regency San Francisco will continue its holiday tradition with an engaging and interactive snowfall display in its atrium lobby throughout the holiday season. Complementing the dramatic lights, over-the-top interior décor and 30-foot tree, snow will fall daily. Snow times are as follows: Weekends (Saturday + Sunday) at 10:30 a.m.; 12:30 p.m.; 4:30 p.m.; and 6:30 p.m. and on weekdays (Monday – Friday) at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Additionally, back by popular demand, the legendary Snow Village will be on display in the hotel’s lobby from November 22 through December 30. The 2014 display encompasses over 1000 pieces, ranging from traditional holiday-inspired collectibles to entertaining motion-oriented exhibits.

Breakfast with Santa
November 29 through December 24 (select dates as identified below)
Hyatt Regency San Francisco has the inside track with personal visits from Santa Claus who will be making his appearance during the weekends as well as extended dates for the weekdays leading up to Christmas at Eclipse Restaurant’s Breakfast with Santa. The weekend buffet is offered from 8:00 a.m. to Noon, on November 29 and 30; and December 6, 7, 13, 14 and 20-24. The cost is $29 per adult and $14.50 for children 4-12 while children under four are free (limited to one complimentary child per one adult). Reservations are required for Breakfast with Santa and can be made by calling (415) 788-1234.
