Startup Leadership Program (SLP) is hosting an info session on how to run a successful crowdfunding campaign. Come learn about the common pitfalls and how to reach your funding goal. The talk will discuss how to navigate social marketing, PR, and manufacturing.
There will be two speakers. The first is a program director at Indiegogo, and the second speaker is JP Stoops, an alum of San Francisco's SLP Chapter. Through Kickstarter and Indiegogo's OnDemand program, he has successfully raised $65,000 for his tech toy. He is now working on partnerships with large retailers.
After his talk, there will be time to talk to other alum of Startup Leadership Program and see if participating in the program is a good fit for you. Applications for SLP will be due August 1st.
