Over the last 5 decades legendary Vedic Master Maharishi Vyasananda Thom Knoles has taught tens of thousands of busy people, from all walks of life, to meditate in a technique that is effortless, simple and accessible. This is his first trip back to the Bay Area in almost 5 years. Please join to take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn from the Master.
This Introductory Talk on the practice of Vedic Meditation will focus on how the technique can be easily implemented into even the busiest, over-scheduled lifestyle. This will be a lecture and question/answer session perfect for those who've been dabbling with meditation but are looking for a way to make it stick as a daily practice. Topics include the technique’s origins, an overview of the mechanics of the practice itself and its numerous benefits, including reduction of stress and an increase in energy and peace of mind.
For those interested in going deeper there will be a short, flexible course offered Sept. 11-14. The course consists of 4 sessions of about 90 minutes of instruction taken once a day for 4 days. Full details for the course will be provided at the intro.
