What do you want most in life? “I want to be happy” is the response given by the majority of people asked this question. But do we know what that means and how to get there? Happiness research has shown that our environment and our genetics contribute to how happy we feel, but the majority of our happiness is attributed to how we choose to live our lives. We find happiness through the art of blending our beliefs and values into our unique life choices.
This workshop invites you to take a fresh look at happiness through the lens of your choices in life: How do your beliefs govern how you interpret a situation? How do you use your values as an anchor for happiness? How do your boundaries protect your energy? What determines your mindset? How do you build connection within yourself to strengthen connection with others?
Learn the practice of blending the art of positive psychology, personal neuroscience, and mindfulness to own your worth and value in order to raise your experience of happiness. This experiential workshop provides the space to explore your own concept of happiness with curiosity and build the skill set of deep self-awareness. Utilizing meditation, gratitude, boundary work, and self-compassion as your brush, leave with a reinvigorated vision of what it means to be happy.

Kayleigh Martin, MA is an embodied health and wellness coach, guided imagery practitioner, and 500-HR registered yoga teacher. She is the program director at the Mindfulness Care Center, where she facilitates the growth of public and corporate programs based on mindfulness education with a somatic-based approach. She also created and leads a class in the Mindfulness of Self-Care.
Kayleigh is a graduate of the Integrative Health Studies program at CIIS. For her thesis project, she created a 6-week program based on research supporting an embodied approach to recovering from professional burnout. Her work and teaching draw from Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, and positive psychology. She is passionate about sustainable lifestyle change, and believes a compassionate, mindful, and body-centered approach to wellness can re-inspire connection and a flourishing life.
