Dr. Ibram Kendi, author of Stamped from the Beginning: the Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America, has a new book out "How to be an Antiracist" about how to challenge racist power and ideas, beginning with those we hold ourselves. Shaun Haines is the Founder and Executive Director of San Francisco Impact Partners. His goals are to affect the remediation of disparities that impact communities that are most in need. Shaun is an Associate Member of the San Francisco Democratic Party. He is Founder and President of San Francisco Black Community Matters. He became elected in 2015 to the position of Assembly District Delegate. He was appointed to serve on the San Francisco Human Rights Commission – LGBT Advisory Committee, Commissioner on the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force and the African American Advisory Committee of the 17th Assembly District. As such Shaun understands how public policy can benefit or create consequences that impact low-income communities. Shaun is a Permanent Member of the San Francisco Police Department Chief’s LGBT Advisory Forum.

LeRon Barton is a writer and TEDx speaker committed to fighting for racial and social justice and helping people become the most authentic version of themselves. Karen Fleshman, Esq. is an attorney, activist, and a nationally recognized expert on racism, feminism, workplace fair practices, police brutality, and politics. Working in nonprofits and local government, Karen came to understand that racism is the underlying problem in our society. In 2014, Karen founded Racy Conversations, a workshop facilitation company, to inspire the first antiracist generation in America.
