House of Ronin Presents: Torture Ties presented by Jack Hammer

Inspired by Kink.com's Mission Statement: "to demystify and celebrate BDSM and alternative sexualities,” comes The KINK.com Demystification Workshop Series 2017.
We invite you to share safe space with us to hear about what we do and why. This series will include presenters of many walks of life and will cover various topics from rope bondage to D/s dynamics to sadomasochism and just about everything else in between. Come with an open mind and have your questions ready.

Today we are joined by Jack Hammer & Barbary Rose. They will share with us their journey into sadomasochism, specifically through rope bondage. 
Torture ties are a give and take- the bottom is giving the opportunity to be tied and the top takes that gift and feeds off the energy. The top will return it with pain and pleasure! Some people can’t always handle that however, it can be a learning experience and can also be transformative.
The mental and physical connection between the top and bottom is the main focus of this style of rope bondage, to create a deeper sense of intimacy.
During this workshop Jack & Barbary will discuss the psychological aspects, orgasms with pain, and attendees will have the opportunity to tie three ties:
Tie #1: Basic chest tie.
Tie #2: Adding more restrictive rope, possibly binding the legs.
Tie #3: Students will check in with their bottom making sure their limbs or fingers are not going numb and will bind the legs tightly against the rest of the body. The focus is ensuring that the bottom can handle the predicament of the tie without being in great pain, yet suffering in a tortured manner.
Requirements for class:*Students should have a basic knowledge of box ties, frog ties, single and double column ties.
Rope and Equipment:*Please bring six 30' lengths of jute or hemp rope. NO COLORED/FLUORESCENT ROPES. They can be distracting and take away from the experience.*You must have a pair of safety shears or a 911 knife on your person at all times during the class. The SF Armory will have a few loaner pairs.*This workshop is kept small so that we can give one on one feedback and assistance to all our students - both tops and bottoms.The first 4 couples to register will receive a signed copy of "Coming Out Like A Porn Star," Essays on Pornography, Protection, and Privacy in which Jack Hammer is featured!
 
Presenter’s Bios:
Jack Hammer is the founder and director of InterracialBondage.xxx. Prior to that he worked for Insex as thedirector of Hardtied.com and co-director of SexuallyBroken.com for 4 years. He has been involved in BDSM since the late 90’s.  He has been in the porn industry for about 10 years. Jack started out as a bottom for Kink.com mostly modeling for MeninPain.com now DivineBitches.com, TSSeduction.com and a host of the other Kink sites. He is mostly self-taught with rope bondage and has been practicing since 2004. His personal style can be hard and soft depending on the energy of the person being tied. 
Barbary Rose is an adult actress, model, and BDSM performer. Her career in the adult industry started in 2014 after years of nude & fetish modeling and performing for web cam shows. Barbary also performs in live bondage performances with her partner Jack Hammer XL. She has been in the local Bay Area kink scene for about 5 years. She is a masochistic power bottom who loves challenging her mind and body through rope bondage. We do not use tickets, so there is nothing to print. Your name will be on a list at the door. Public transportation is recommended as street parking is limited.
